Ok, I confess, I are a piece of fruit cake today. Well it’s my birthday. I felt wonderful afterwards. However, paying attention to my moods, I was in a low mood an hour later.
For the past 4 days I’ve eaten cabbage or greens every day. Yesterday was the first day that I had no sweet food craving whatsoever. I’m sure it’s the extra veg and the lack of sugar in my diet.
Today, I admit, I do feel like something sweet. However, I have cycled 40 kilometers around Bath so I probably need some carbs, and carbs make my stomach swell up.
I ate a peanut butter sandwich for lunch and the cake, so when I arrived home I cooked up a carrot and half a cabbage and ate that. I’ll attempt another peanut butter sandwich before dinner as we’re off to tennis, and notice how I feel for tomorrow ‘s blog.
The box of chocolates my daughter bought for my birthday has survived another day.
