Well it’s 12 days since I began this blog.
Yesterday I decided to eat some of my birthday chocolate early. I’m allowed chocolate every 7 days, and I was beginning to worry that it would taste overly sweet and I wouldn’t want it at all by today. I ate 3 squares. I was stunned by how sweet it tasted after 13 days without chocolate.
After avoiding the uncut bread with grains, I have no chest pains. I ate the Jalapeno bread for breakfast this morning with the sugar free jam and butter.
I’ve cut my cycling down to about 50 k a week from 100 k, so I’ve no idea what I would eat if I increased this again. If the weather improves I’d like to cycle more, the same as last year. Perhaps when my diet stabilises I’ll be able to increase my exercise.
Usually now, I eat cabbage or greens every day.
This diet is all self imposed. I still haven’t telephoned the doctor, mainly because I work irregular shifts and I’d miss the call back. As it’s raining, I’ll make the effort to call today and maybe I’ll be home to answer the phone as I won’t be out cycling.
