My Diabetes avoidance blog – weekend Cheer.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the flowers are blooming lovely. It is good to be alive.

So this week I’ve eaten a few bananas. I stopped eating them because I found out they were high in sugar. Then I realized I was missing out on potassium, so I ate three.

I love mushrooms; apparently they are high in potassium; my partner loves them aswell, which is great because it is sometimes difficult when our partners don’t enjoy the same food as us.

I’m going to sign off for now with a reminder that, even though juice has received a bad press of late, freshly squeezed juice from Aldi only has 12 grams of sugar per 100 grams, so it is still a good, relatively, low sugar refreshing detox in this heat when you are not feeling hungry; great as an ice cube too, just like my mama used to make.

Have a great weekend,

All my love,

Hermione
